Balcony Music Club
BMC (the Balcony Music Club) is located on the corner of Decatur Street and Esplanade Avenue between the French Quarter and the Marigny. They have live music nearly every night and they never have a cover so it’s a great place to check out some new local bands.
It opened in 2010 replacing the legendary El Matador Lounge, a rock, jazz, and flamenco club which had been in place since 1999.
