J. Mix

Jessica "J.Mix" Mixon is a New Orleans-born artist whose work is a testament to the power of creative resilience. From her early days in community theater starring in acclaimed regional productions like Pippin and Rent, the stage has long been her sanctuary and her voice.

A graduate of Loyola University's Vocal Performance program, she further honed her craft performing globally with the Andrew Sisters-inspired group, The Victory Belles. J.Mix has also performed and traveled with bands such as Cha Wa, Waterseed, Anna Moss, Big Easy Boys, NOLA Resistance, & Phunky Monkeys.

Her journey through trauma and mental health recovery has deeply informed her current artistic endeavors. As the founder and host of The Self-Aware Millennial podcast, she creates a space for honest, cycle-breaking conversations. Simultaneously, she has immersed herself in music production, channeling her experiences into an intimate alternative sound that merges dreamy, psychedelic harmonics with Electro-pop and R&B. Her debut album premieres May 2026.
