Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes was a perfect band for the Nola Brewing 17th Anniversary event. A free show for the party? Yes please. These guys have been around Nola for quite a while (25 years!) and they always know how to entertain. Described as a “jazz blues funk rock band,” you never know what you might get.
Young as they look, it may be hard to believe they’ve been performing live since 2001 - that fateful night when original band members Marc Paradis (Johnny Sketch), Dave Pomerleau (Gator Dave), and André Bohren (Dirty Johnny) decided to win the Loyola University Battle of the Bands.
