Mahogany Jazz Hall
The Mahogany Jazz Hall is one of the more under-rated music venues in New Orleans. It’s just off Canal Street on Chartres Street so very accessible from most down hotels and the streetcar lines. They have live jazz seven days a week (usually multiple shows each night). No cover charge but there is a one-drink minimum.
The club opened on July 1, 2021, with the name paying tribute to the original Lulu White’s Mahogany Hall, a legendary Storyville jazz club that operated from 1897 to 1917.
