Paul Sanchez is a legendary New Orleans musician. He grew up in the Crescent City and helped form Cowboy Mouth, a local rock band. After many years touring with them, he ventured out on his own following Hurricane Katrina. The loss of his home and possessions changed his son to a more mature, introspective style, but don’t worry, this dude still has a lof of fun on stage. We love this description of him from John Swenson in Offbeat Magazine: “Paul Sanchez balances New Orleans street music, singer/songwriter introspection and rock ‘n roll eclecticism with the grace of a cocktail waitress balancing a trail of martinis at Happy Hour.” He plays regularly around town and periodically does an amazing tribute show to Johnny Cash at Chickie Wah Wah.
