Reneé Gros is a “dive bar diva” from the West Bank with an amazing voice. Her sound is tough to describe – strong voice, great passion, not really rock or pop, probably a combo of both with a lot of soul and even some blues mixed in – she covered an Alabama Shakes song and that definitely fit her sound. We like this line about her 2026 album release: A coming-of-age record about rejecting other people’s expectations and finding freedom – and sometimes comfort – in not fitting in. She put on a great show at Carrollton Station with Tiago Guy joining on guitar (7/17/26).
