Walking around the streets of New Orleans, figuring there must be some Sunday music around...yep! Here's legendary zydeco king Rockin' Dopsie, Jr., knocking things out on his rub-board with his buddies. They were celebrating the 30th anniversary of Liuzza's at the Track (you Jazzfesters know what we're talking about). Between this iteration of the name and his father, the name Rockin' Dopsie has been entertaining for over 70 years. Here's a cool line from The Travel Channel: "Rockin' Dopsie, Jr. is the Mick Jagger of the marsh." Ah yeah! Don't mess with my toot toot because music's where it's at.
