The Desert Nudes

These guys are an amazing band. Described as a blend of Western and cowboy songs, they truly seem like guys who manifested out of the desert and started playing these amazing songs. Just the trio playing their guitars (no drums) and delivering perfect melodies. It’s pretty chill music in general, but they can crank it up, no doubt about it. A very unique sound for New Orleans. André Bohren (Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Spencer Bohren, Alex McMurray, The Walrus) handles guitar and lap steel; David Pomerleau (Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Spencer Bohren, The Walrus) is on the bass; and John Paul Carmody (South Jones, Colin Davis & Night People) is also banging away on his guitar. All three provide vocals.
