Chris Vincent is a New Orleans based songwriter and slide guitar player. He had a great bluesy sound – it kinda came across as a little Tom Morello (Nightwatchman) singing, think it’s that story telling angle of it all. His drummer was killing it for this song; should have remembered his name but we may have had a couple of beers. In an interview with Blues.gr, he said, “My sound/identity as a writer and musician has been influenced by blues, yes, but also by early jazz, swing, hard bop, even some early rock and roll.” Sounds right to me. Rock an roll. Music’s where it’s at.
